Sri Lanka Financial Association organised Third Annual International Conference on Emerging Financial Markets and Policy (EFMP 2023) on June 23, 2023, featuring a hybrid mode with online and on-site sessions at the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, hosted by the Department of Financial Management, University of Jaffna. Distinguished keynote speakers at the conference included Prof.
Lalith Samarakoon, Professor of Finance and Chair of the Department of Finance at the Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas, USA, and Prof. B. Balachandran, Professor of Finance and the Head of Department for the Finance Discipline at Monash University, Malaysia Campus. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof.S.Srisatkunarajah graced the conference as the chief dignitary. The gathering was addressed by the Snr. Prof. Hareendra Dissabandara (The president, SLFA), Snr.Prof.B.Nimalathasan (Dean, FMSC) and Prof. Rathiranee Yogendrarajah (Chair, EFMP 2023).
