The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce on 19th of November 2021 at Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce. Vice Chancellor, University of Jaffna, Dean of the Faculty, Heads of the Departments, Academic and non-academic staff and student of Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, Mr. Manil Jeyasinghe, President, Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka, Ms. Niroshini Siriwasa, Head / Business School and Head of Members relations, CA Sri Lanka, Mr. Saman Srilal, Council Member, CA Sri Lanka and Anoji Desilva, Council Member, CA Sri Lanka Mr. V. Kanagasabapathy, Council member, University of Jaffna participated in the memorable event. The main objective of The MOU is to enhance the quality of accounting education by incorporating professional requirements as appear in the changing world. It provides three gold medals for the best students in the Department of Financial Management, Accounting and Commerce. Further, It facilitates for closer research collaboration between the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna and Charted Accountants of Sri Lanka to promote Management / Accountancy and Finance related education, research and training methodologies.
