Department of Financial Management, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna in partnership with Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), Sri Lanka hosted an exhibition with the theme of “Emerging financial minds for future investors”. This event was hosted on 12th December 2023 at the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce Auditorium. This exhibition/event is one initiative outlined in the MOU between the Department of Financial Management and the CSE.  The coordination and organization of this finance exhibition competition were skilfully executed by Prof. (Mrs.) L. Varsity Battles Finals – National Level Competition 2023, jointly organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) was held on 7th December 2023 at the Royal Peacock Ballroom, The Grand Kandyan Hotel, Kandy with the intention of educating state university students on the capital market. This National Level Competition (Stage 2) was conducted among 39 teams where top three teams were selected from the Inter-Faculty (stage 01) competition from 13 universities. This competition covers wide areas of Global Markets, General Knowledge, Sri Lankan Economy and Business, Current Affairs, Sports, Entertainment and Rapid Fire.  Two teams from FMSC and one team from Engineering Faculty were participated in the national level competition from the University of Jaffna where two teams participated representing the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce and one team from Faculty..
