The Department of Finance, University of Colombo in collaboration with MAGNATE 2023, organized an "Inter-University Debate Competition" under the theme of "Leading with Vision, Thriving with Finance." The primary purpose of this competition is to cultivate and enhance the interpersonal, networking, leadership, and communication aptitudes of undergraduates from various state universities. Representing the Department of Financial Management, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna, two teams participated in the competition. A guest lecture on Public Procurement Management was arranged by the Department of Financial Management, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna for the subject of Public Financial Management (BBAF 3252).
