The Department of Finance of the University of Colombo organized the " Inter University Debate Competition " in association with MAGNATE 2022. CFA Society Sri Lanka conducted two types of training programs on Python and Machine Learning and Equity Analyst under the process of entering into the MOU agreement with the Department of Financial Management. One staff and two students were selected for the training on Python and Machine Learning. The training commenced on 28th September 2021 and was conducted for 11 virtual hours. It covered basic knowledge of using python for analytics, practical application of statistics, practical portfolio optimization in python, and implementing basic machine learning in python.
