Guest Lecture on Public Procurement Management
A guest lecture on Public Procurement Management was arranged by the Department of Financial Management, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna for the subject of Public Financial Management (BBAF 3252). It was conducted by Mr. K. Sureshkumar, Bursar, University of Jaffna on 2nd of August 2023 (Wednesday) from 2.00 p.m to 4.00 p.m at the auditorium of the faculty. There were approximately 80 students from third year specializing in financial management participated in this session and they could get practical knowledge on different methods of public procurement, committees responsible for public procurement and procedures should be followed in public procurement management in a government organization.
